Meaning: old wives’ tale


Definition: free
Example: Uzmi besplatno. ~ Take it for free.

Meaning: no problem


Definition: office
Example: Naš ured je u Splitu. ~ Our office is in Split.

“dobar kao kruh”
Meaning: good as bread
Usage: to say someone is a very good person


“micati (se)”
Definition: to move
Example: Miči se polako. ~ Move slowly.

“samo ovo”
Meaning: just this, only this


Definition: of course, sure
Example: Naravno da ću doći. ~ Of course I’ll come.
