Meaning: to chill balls

Noun
Definition: sea
Example: More je toplo. ~ The sea is warm.

Week of July 19

Phrase

“ptičja perspektiva”
Meaning: bird’s eye view
Usage: to watch something from the sky

Word

“brzo
Adverb
Definition: quickly, fast
Example: Ona vozi brzo. ~ She drives fast.

Week of July 12

Phrase

“slijepi putnik/ca”
Meaning: hidden passenger
Definition: A person who travels without travel documents
Usage: If you are referring to female use slijepa putnica.
If you are referring to male use slijepi putnik.

Word

“zabavan”
Adjective
Definition: fun, amusing, entertaining
Example: Film je zabavan. ~ The movie is fun.

Phrase

“ne može”
Meaning: no
Literal translation: can’t

Word

“kuhati”
Verb
Definition: cook, boil
Example: Kuham juhu. ~ I’m cooking soup.
